Why Your Levoit Humidifier Keeps Turning Off

Your humidifier can keep turning off due to safety triggers in the unit or the VeSync app. To fix this problem:

  1. Empty out the base, place the humidifier on the ground and press a manual mist control button. This will allow the water level sensor to reset and let you use the humidifier continuously. If this works, you may need to change the location of the humidifier so that the unit can work until the water in the tank runs out.
  2. Check the ‘Smart Scenes’ in your VeSync app to ensure that they are not interfering with your manual inputs. To find ‘Smart Scenes’ in the VeSync app, click on the paired product(your humidifier) and go to settings. There you can see ‘Smart Scenes .’In this tab, check the humidity auto-start/stop settings.

Why Your Levoit Humidifier Automatically Turns Off

The Levoit humidifiers automatically shut off if the water level is low or the tank is removed. The timer feature also allows you to schedule the running times, and will turn off the humidifier during selected time.

Why Your Levoit Humidifier Is Making Loud Noises

Your water tank might be making noise if:

  • The water tank is not appropriately placed.
  • Inappropriate mist level settings (try setting mist to a lower level).
  • The humidifier is malfunctioning (stop using the unit and contact customer support).
  • In LV600S and LV600HH humidifiers, the heating element can make a loud noise (when using the warm mist function) if the water level is not up to the mark. Add more water to fix this issue.
